In 2012 the hotel received the official title of a host for the Italian National Team during the European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2012 and began its great adventure with sports.
Perfect training conditions along with professionally prepared Hotel and training pitches favoured the Italian National Team, which won the title of European Vice Champion in the final
match against Spain.
After the success of the Italian National Team, we hosted the Polish National Football Team in 2013, led by the coach, Waldemar Fornalik. The team arrived at Wieliczka before the match against Liechtenstein, which was a farewell game for a goalkeeper, Jerzy Dudek.
In 2017 Turówka Hotel & SPA**** hosted the German National Team during the U21 EURO 2017 UEFA European Football Championship.

Residence of the Italian National Team at the EURO 2012 Football Championship
Turówka Hotel & SPA**** was the official host of the Italian National Team during the UEFA European Football Championship, UEFA EURO 2012. Several national teams took an attempt to reside in Wieliczka but in the end Turówka Hotel & SPA**** became the Italian National Team base camp.
From June 5 to July 2, 2012 footballers Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Daniele De Rossi, Claudio Marchisio, Thiago Motta, Andrea Pirlo, Mario Balotelli, Antonio Cassano just to name a few, along with their coach Cesare Prandelli as well as their trainers and staff resided in the hotel.

U21 EURO 2017 - German National Team
In 2017 Turówka Hotel & Spa**** hosted the German National Team during the U21 EURO 2017 UEFA European Football Championship.
Footballers Jeremy Toljan, Niklas Stark, Max Meyer, Mahmoud Dahoud, Maximilian Arnold, Serge Gnabry, Maximilian Philipp just to name a few along with their coach Stefan Kuntz made their way to the final beating Spain 1:0 and winning championship.

The event is organized by Tomasz Babiloński. Once a coach and amateur boxing passionate who now promotes professional boxing is well known for creating memorable sports events.

Memorial Rally of Kulig and Bublewicz
Kulig and Bublewicz Memorial Rally is organized to commemorate outstanding polish race drivers who tragically passed away and became a part of polish motorsport history.
The rally is organized annually by the Krakow Automobile Club at the turn of March and April in Wieliczka. Turówka Hotel & SPA**** is a sponsor and an event partner of the event and has a privilege to host participants as well as Janusz Kulig and Marian Bublewicz families, friends and fans, namely Beata Bublewicz, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Wiesław Stec, Sebastan Frycz, Maciej Kot, Piotr Fetela, Michał Wiśniewski, Dominika Tajner, Zbigniew Marcin Bródka, Filip Nivette and others.
Mustang Race
Mustang Klub Polska invites every year lovers of the legendary American brand to participate in the Mustang Race. A group of 50 cars sets out on a journey through southern Poland.
In 2013, 50 crews hosted Hotel & SPA **** in Turówka. The crews represented almost all generations of the production of the legendary car, produced continuously for 49 years. In the hotel car park, Wieliczanie and Hotel Guests admired the classics from the first years of production 65-68, representatives from the 70s, 90s and after 2000 up to the latest model 2013. In 2013, the rally gained international momentum, because Polish teams were joined by the Czech Mustang Riders team and two crews from Belarus.
Automobile Club - Polish History Rally Championship - round VI - South Cup
Krakow Automobile Club derives from The Galician Automotive Club in Krakow, created in March 1908. In 1914 its role was passed on to another club which operated till September 1939.
The successor club – Krakow Automobile Club reopened in 1945. Krakow Automobile Club in cooperation with Wieliczka Municipal Council, District Authority Office as well as Gdów, Łapanów and Raciechowice boroughs organizes PLATINUM Memorial Rally of Kulig and Bublewicz. Apart from competition and sports rivalry, the rally is accompanied by a night drive on the streets of Wieliczka to commemorate Marian Bublewicz and Janusz Kulig, two outstanding Polish rally drivers who tragically passed away.
At the race start, you can see historic vehicles which compete in the eliminations to the History South Cup. In 2008 Turówka Hotel & SPA**** for the first time hosted participants of the Round VI of the Polish History Rally Championship who regularly take part in the Memorial Rally of Kulig and Bublewicz.
Table tennis
Table Tennis Grand Prix Solnego Miasta (The Salt Town Table Tennis Grand Prix) tournament is organized annually. The event is accompanied by exhibition matches, where you can see stars in action. Daniel Bąk, Miroslav Horejsi Kamil Nalepa , Jakub Perek, Jörgen Persson , Takakiwa Taku as well as Lucjan Błaszczyk who is one of the most talented Polish table tennis players. Turówka Hotel & SPA**** had a privilege to host the champion and the ZKP Palmiarnia Zielona Góra Team, competing in Polish Table Tennis Super League.
Cycling
Tour the Pologne is a road bicycle stage race organized annually. It is one of the most prestigious international sports events that take place in Poland. In 2013 Turówka Hotel & SPA**** hosted the participants for the first time, just to name Michał Kwiatkowski. Every year since then the hotel hosts well-known cyclists, organizers and their teams during the 5th stage of the race. Tour the Pologne is a road bicycle stage race organized annually. It is one of the most prestigious international sports events that take place in Poland.
